MY STORY

I didn’t grow up as a traditional “theater kid,” though theater was always nearby. My parents, a vocal coach mother and a performer father, met at Opryland, and I was born in Florida because my dad was working on a cruise ship. My first professional role came early, as Princess Ying Yaowalak in the 1999 national tour of The King & I.

I trained in vocal performance at LaGuardia High School, but as my interests broadened, I gravitated toward fine art, fashion design, and film production, eventually building a career in business systems management. For a time, I found myself more comfortable behind the scenes than in the spotlight.

While working a 9–5, I began to feel drawn back to theater as a place of beauty, storytelling, and connection. I kept singing quietly until that pull led me to AfterWork Theater, where I was cast as Ella in Cinderella.

Today, while business systems still pays the bills, I’m exploring opportunities in musical theater acting, directing, and songwriting.
